Robert Joseph John Gaudio, affectionately known as Bob, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 4, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, he spent the past 52 years in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Bob had a wonderful career that allowed him to travel all around the world, with Kyoto, Japan, holding a special place in his heart. He will forever be remembered for his love of family, friends, and wonderful neighbors. His faith was a driving force in who he was, especially his love of Mother Mary. He was a loving, generous, kind, fair, funny, one of a kind man, who was a passionate and motivated leader.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Tomasina Marie (“Tomi”) Gaudio (nee LaPinta), and their two daughters, Dr. Gina Gaudio-Grace, (William F. Graves, Jr.), and Lisa Phelps (James Joseph Phelps Jr.) He cherished his role as a grandfather to Clara and Sara Phelps. He was also the great grandfather of Daniella and Wednesday VanNote. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Anne Gaudio, and his parents, Henry James Gaudio and Helene Cecilia Gaudio. Bob was a Roman Catholic and a devoted member of St. Edna Parish in Arlington Heights. He was also a 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus. His legacy as a loving husband, father, and grandfather will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Monday, February 24 at The Church of Saint Clare, 5659 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst (East of Richmond Road). Entombment All Souls Cemetery.
