ROSEMARY A. CALE, age 89, beloved wife for 54 years of Robert H. Cale, cherished mother of Donna-Rae Smith (husband Edward), Deborah Jo Di Fiore (deceased) (husband Dante) and Mark J. Hawald (wife Debbie), devoted grandmother of Maressa Kuszewski (husband Alex), Joe Hawald, Concetta Di Geronimo (husband Paolo), Brant Smith (wife Erin), Mark F. Hawald (wife Cindy), Ben Di Fiore (wife Candice), Maria Solanki (husband Varun), Francesca Calanni (husband Charlie) and great grandmother of 13. Loving Sister and Aunt.
Our family lost our beautiful matriarch--our most cherished Rosemary went home to be with God. We know she is a radiant angel now watching over us in love. Wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, great grandmother to 13… she was the heart and soul of our large family. Rosemary had a presence and a strength unparalleled. She was outstanding in so many aspects of life--fiercely strong, fiercely loving.  Stunningly elegant, she created and found beauty in everything around her. Rosemary lifted us up, spoke confidence into our lives, and made us feel so incredibly special and loved. She helped us believe we could achieve whatever we set out to do.  She touched all of our lives in a positive way. Rosemary was a true example of a woman who, time after time, when faced with hardship and difficulty, rose up in faith and with unstoppable strength, overcame and triumphed over adversity, improving herself and looking for the positives in each turn of life. Of greatest importance, she was a woman of deep faith. Our hearts weep that she has left this Earth, but we rejoice knowing she lives on eternally in peace and joy with God.
