"SAM" ORTECA, age 83, beloved husband for 46 years of the late Cora (nee Zappone), loving father of Salvatore J., Susan Monroe (Mark), Mary Jo Sarris (George), devoted grandfather of Daniel Monroe (Ivy), Jennifer Mc Cutchen (Chad), Jason, Michael and Christopher Sarris, cherished great grandfather of Eliana and Jordan, beloved son of Salvatore and Catherine (both deceased), loving brother of Frank (Marilyn, deceased) and the following deceased: Joseph, Lil Mione (Armand), Anthony (Juanita), Eleanor Bonvissuto (Thomas), brother-in-law of Joan Orteca, loving uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Sam was Knight of the Year and Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Gilmour Councli 310, 4th Degree Knight of Moses Cleaveland Assembly 800, member of ISDA University Lodge, Past President of the South Euclid Italian Club, Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Usher for over 40 years and Eucharistic Minister at St. Gregory the Great Church, and long-time active member of Northeast Ohio Service Director's Association, Board Member of Shaker Heights Employee Credit Union, and member of Mayfield Heights Board of Zoning Appeals.
