TARA LYNN KUCHENBECKER
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tara Lynn (Orzechowski) Kuchenbecker, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Tara passed away on January 23, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio. The daughter of Anthony R. and Charlene Orzechowski, Tara was born on August 27, 1968 in Xenia, Ohio. She was a 1986 graduate of Willoughby South High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in social work at Bowling Green State University in 1990/ Tara began her career in social work with that is now Lake County Jobs and Family Services. She then dedicated her career to assisting the elderly and was employed by several nursing homes around and near Lake County.
Her passion for caring for others evolved through volunteer work at The Hope Chest in Painesville, WomenSafe Resale Shoppe in Chesterland, and the Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village in Russell Township where she was most recently employed. In her spare time, Tara enjoyed soaking up the sun, dog walking, and pet sitting for friends. Tara's last act of compassion was to donate her corneas and tissue to help improve the lives of others.
Tara is survived by her loving husband of twenty-three years, Kenneth P. Kuchenbecker; her dear parents, Anthony R.and Charlene Orzechowski; her sister, Raquel Griesmar; her nephew, William Griesmer; her niece, Natalie Griesmer; and extended family members.
Tara's family invites you to celebrate her life by gathering at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village North, the Greenhouse Private Dining Room, 36500 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby 44094 from 1:00 pm - 4:00pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019. In lieu of flowers, Tara's family suggests donations in her memory to the Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Russell Township, Ohio 44072; or to The Hope Chest, 1 Victoria Square Suite 321, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
