TICE OZINGA, born January 28, 1924 in New Jersey and was a long-time Lake County resident. He was the former owner along with his brother of Mireau Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Cleveland, and had worked at the Brecksville Veteran's Administration Hospital and at Painesville Laundry. He was a Lay Minister and Elder at Willo Chapel and a founder of the Believers Bible Chapel. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, serving on the USS Brooklyn. An avid golfer, sailor and skier, he also was a ranger at Erie Shores Golf Course. Tice is survived by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn (nee Heinz), his daughter Cheryl Harshall (husband Tawn) of Butler, PA, his foster children, Cynthia Bauer Ward of Lombard, IL, George Bauer (wife Mickey) of Strongsville, his grandchildren, Tami D'Amico (husband Tony) of Painesville Township, Holly Farwell (husband John) of Eastlake, John Ozinga (wife Tanya) of Sharpsville, PA, Aaron Ward (wife Jenna) of St. Louis, MO, five great grandchildren and his daughter-in-law Victoria Ozinga of Perry. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Ozinga and his siblings, Jim and John Ozinga, Natalie Voss, Dorothy Hazen, Sue Auld and Trina De Young.
