Valia Mae Antoniak (nee Antonelli), age 96
Dearest wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Donna Jean Barber (husband George). Most beloved grandmother of Kelley Thompson (Koren), and Michael Halapy. Devoted and cherished great grandmother of Tiger Thompson. Dear sister to Clara Russo, Louise Marzullo and the following deceased: Tillie Patete, Norma Costanzi, Peter Antonelli and Mike Antonelli. Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews and many friends who have sadly passed on.
She enjoyed the simplest pleasures of life, nothing fancy. Even her favorite beverage was plain ol' Genesee beer. We already miss our Sunday afternoons on the deck with our cocktails. Salute!
The one thing that could always get a smile from her was her great grandson, Tiger. She was always so proud of you.
We will miss you.
Interment Private. Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Wednesday, August 10 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 342 South Chillicothe Rd, Aurora, 44202, where family will receive friends from 10 am until start of mass.
