VERONICA DELLA VELLA (nee Petrarca), age 95, beloved wife for 60 years of Charles, Sr. (deceased), cherished mother of Michael (wife Vita) and Charles, Jr. (wife Lora), devoted grandmother of Michael (wife Laura) and Anthony (wife Alicia) Della Vella, Michael Farry (wife Rosa), Debbie Della Vella, Jennifer Tookman (husband John), Amy Snyder (husband Mike), Chuck (wife Nichole) and Christopher (wife Sarah) Della Vella, adoring great grandmother of 13, loving daughter of Modestino and Agatha Petrarca (both deceased), dear sister of the following deceased: Silvia Angelone, Theodora Angelone, Lena Tedeschi, Lucille Petrarca, Madilena DiLisi, Anthony Petrarca, Pasquino Petrarca, Louise Barklow, Thomas Peters, George Petrarca and Corinne Fioritto.
Veronica was a Marriage License Clerk for Cuyahoga County Probate Court for over 22 years and was one of the first female Real Estate Brokers in Cleveland during the 1960's, working first for Sam Vitanza Realty, then Gerome and Capretta Realty and later on Realty One and Russell Realty. She was devoted to her family, was an outstanding cook and baker and enjoyed gardening with her husband. A long-time parishioner of St. Bernadette Church in Westlake, she was formerly active at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Cleveland and was a past-president of the Cathedral Latin Mother's Club when her sons attended.
